For our sister company, Melle Transport, we are looking for a Senior Planner employee. Melle Transport is a growing logistics service provider in the North Rotterdam region. They specialize in transporting sea containers, both nationally and internationally. They handle temperature-controlled transport and IMO cargoes. Daily, they work with a team of five and have a fleet of a total of 40 vehicles. Job description
You and your colleagues ensure that the trucks are scheduled.
- Proactively communicate with your customers and various warehouses and customer service teams in Europe.
- Support your colleagues with problem cases or emergencies.
- Ensure that the trucks are utilized optimally, such as combining imports and exports.
- Keep an overview of the entire fleet so you can provide the right solutions for specific customer requests.
- As the lead planner, you will support the management with tasks such as coordinating with customers, troubleshooting, and handling damage claims.

You are a team player, stress-resistant, and not afraid of a challenge.
- Your colleagues can always turn to you for questions or support.
- You have a HBO work/thinking level.
- It is essential that you are familiar with the planning of international container transport.
- You have the potential/ambition to lead and enjoy contributing ideas about business operations.
- You are proficient in Dutch, English, and German.
